The same thing occurs with Gareth Emery Podcast's.

I guess it cant handle picture frames *shrug*. Not sure if this is something I'll be able to fix (don't really want to invest the time into figuring out mp3brfix's code), but I could remove picture frames before splitting easy enough as a work around. What do you think?

On average that would take about what, 20 seconds? If that's the case then I wouldn't mind... Is there a way to detect the presence of unsupported frames besides seeing if the app crashed?

When you say picture frames, you mean Album Art?

Out of interest I just added Album Art to a mp3 before trying to split the file and it split fine. Not sure if International Departures are encoded via iTunes but Gareth Emery Podcast usually is, I think its something related to iTunes tags.

APIC (Attached Picture) frames is the frame I thought was suspect, but yea I added picture frames and it works fine...Maybe it is apple...those fuckers. :D

@Fri: writting a full set of tags only takes about ~3-5 seconds on an average sized unsplit mp3

Just tried splitting the latest Gareth Emery Podcast. Removed the iTunes specific tags first and it wouldn't work. Removed the albumart and then it worked fine. Must be the way iTunes tags albumart into the file as I've no issues if I add albumart via Mp3Tag and then try to split.

Hmm im not really sure if that's something I'll be able to fix without a performance killing hack like the one I suggested above ;\

Can you guys post a couple Index examples from programs you use to get track indexes when making cues so I can handle the parsing correctly in my built in cue generator? Thanks.

i posted the source code of my cuesheet parser on here which supports and properly parses cuesheet Indexes: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=12

and also, check out the index replacer script i wrote that can detect and parse chesheet AND non-cuesheet Index formats. if that's what you're looking for, let me know and i'll send over the source code:
