  • can add/edit/delete requests
  • can add/edit/delete replies to the requests
  • can add/edit/delete sources (links) to cuesheets/cuesheet-comments/requests/request-replies/shouts (!)

next up: brainstorm and design initial layout

Don't worry, I'll fork the site when that day comes. Cuesite/V2 FTW!

its gray simply because its easy to style/code. UI styling comes last.

btw, right now i'm figuring out CakePHP's users, groups, acl, and the whole acl thing. confusing as @#$^! but once i get it working everything will work better than ever. users are assigned to groups, groups are granted different permissions, and you can also grant persmissions to user specifically regardless of what group he is in as well. very flexible =D

Well, the current implementation uses cookies. Get it? Cake, cookies? And cookies aren't a lie! Ehrm...

I don't know if you were active back in the day, when the whole Cuesheet scene started.
But back in the day, sites were made from scratch with php 3,4 / mysql 3,4, and that was almost 11 years ago, and it ran faster than the site your developing. (i'll see if i can pop mine back up again, the old one)

Anything is better than Cake, since Cake back-loads everything it does, at least twice, running the code, then into memory, then displaying it.

But if you insist on using Cake, then at least drop the tables...
Tables was last seen back in 2005... CSS1...
We're dealing with CSS3 now, tables are, looong gone. Plus it makes it a lot easier to skin the site, if your not planning to make Version's.
